10 Best Guided Meditations on YouTube

As you know, I have been going through a particularly difficult period in my life recently and at times I have felt depressed, anxious and physically/mentally exhausted. When I feel like this I know that the greatest thing I can do to support myself is to meditate either by using a mindful breathing technique or by listening to guided meditations.

I find that meditation gives me a break from any negativity I feel and it actually shifts my consciousness so that I can view life in a more positive way, which in turn eases my depression/anxiety/exhaustion; sometimes, it eradicates it completely.

I have collated 10 of my favourite guided meditations, all of which are free on YouTube. No matter what troubles you face in your life, or even if you simply seek some quiet relaxation time for yourself, there is a guided meditation that would be perfect for you.

When I was in grad school I had a professor who led the class in a guided imagery session. I believe you had to dive to the bottom of the ocean where you found A treasure chest to explore. So the meditation revolved around a written script where through the dive you learned a lot about yourself. Have you ever heard of something like this? Or have any advice on where I could start looking?

Hi Vjlura, this sounds like a fabulous guided meditation! I don’t know a meditation like this, but if/when you find it please will you send it to me? I’d love to try it! The best place to start looking is on youtube – there may well be something similar. Just use the ‘search’ function and see where you end up! With love, Jess

You are so right Jess, this is what I found after a quick search on YouTube:

It’s called “Spiritual Chest Guided Meditation: Awakening the Third Eye” and it’s fantastic. Incidentally, I owe the gift of meditation to you and I’m grateful beyond words. Your work is amazing! I experiment with other guided meditations now and again, but yours are the ones I always go back to; they are like “home” to me.

          2. Jess Post author

That means so much to me, thank you Evi! I will try the meditation you suggested, thank you. I do love Jason!

            Keep shining!

    Hi Jess

I wanted to share that my life journey has brought me finally to the correct places and when your true self aligns to the higher consciousness, miraculous things start to happen.

I have been practicing yoga and meditation and your free list is very useful and helpful. In addition, practicing compassion, mindfulness and gratitude provides immense joy and happiness and eventually teaches you to become more resilient to face the various challenges in life. Strangely, we humans have everything right here with us to help us through our stresses and yet we choose to ignore it.

Kudos to you to start and share this website which is very inspiring and motivating. My infinite love to you to continue this good work.

Thank you so much Patty. I am so grateful for your love and beautiful message. It sounds as though you are really in a ‘flow’ state and that you are open and receiving all your deserved good – go girl!! Keep shining. With love, Jess

Jess, I just have to say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your Powerful Abundance Meditation. I think it is one of my favourites of all time and while I haven’t been a long-time meditation practitioner, I have listened to several various ones and most of the ones you have listed above. I also wasn’t expecting this reaction. Sure, I thought I would give it a try and figured I would probably enjoy it, but it blew me away.

Your voice is soothing and angelic in its own right and I do believe it is one of the few times that did not find my mind drifting away to something else. Congratulations! Thank you for creating and sharing it!!

Thank you for sharing your favorite guided meditations. I like to practice with different teachers and guidance. My students love guided meditation and relaxation. Some of them come to the class for this very reason – to finish in a mindful shavasana. I recently started recording some guided meditation and relaxation, too. Take a look if you have time 🙂

OMG i can’t believe the difference i see and feel about myself. I go to bed each night with a set of headphones and listen to one. I go to sleep relaxed, more often than not am asleep before it has finished, but I wake feeling so vibrant and excited. This sure has been a life saver for me. Once again thankyou for the compilation

I absolutely love your guided meditation… I am starting a business and feel that I am constantly getting beaten down by rejection, untrustworthy/bad people, lack of progress, and more. Most days I can power through but there are times when it feels like nothing will work, ever. The last few days have been low. Your mediation helped to recenter my focus, disintegrate the negative thoughts and emotions, and left me ready to continue pushing forward. Your video went straight to my favorites list and I will be sitting through this meditation many more times in the future. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

    1. Jess Post author

You are so so welcome Jim! May you continue to believe in yourself and shine. With so much love and positivity to you xx

I started my morning with Guided Meditation: Deep Relaxation & Bliss and it brought me to a high frequency! Super grateful to have found your site and this page in particular. I always listen to meditation music and 432 and 528 hz music which is truly life changing. Lots of energy blocks release just by having that music and these types of videos in the background or in full focus. Love and light, Deborah

I’ve seen a psychiatrist who’s indifference and dismissive ness was beyond belief. He was more interested in my husbands neuropathy than me! I used to feel that I wasn’t even in the room.

I’m seriously at my wits end and desperate to get better. I’m going to try your links and see if this will help. It certainly can’t harm and some of god reviews are so inspirational.

    Hi Jess,
I bookmarked this page awhile ago and listened to some of your guided meditations then. I just watched your YouTube video about why you started the “Live the Life You Love” website. Beautiful!! I recently moved to Paris, France from Chicago, IL, USA and during many of these days in between, I have experienced anxiety and turmoil, worrying about what is going to happen. I came here because I felt a strong calling for me to come and because I know that life is too short. I have been meditating now for around 4 or 5 years and have usually preferred just silence. However, recently, when I wake up with anxiety, I have found listening to some of these guided meditations so soothing and calming. Then I can continue my day with peace… Thank you so much for putting these together! Listening to many of them, especially the last 2, Letting Go and Relaxation and Bliss, put me in such a relaxed state that the worry and tension have no choice but to subside into oblivion. Thank you again! Much Love, Jeni

    1. Jess Post author

Wow Jeni, that means so much to me. Thank you for sharing and letting me know. I love that you have followed your heart and are in Paris! Keep following your heart and know that all is well my friend. You are safe. You are loved. Life is supporting you Sending you love and blessings, Jess
